Dog Grooming
Proper grooming is more than just having a cute pet. By grooming your pet, you will also be tackling potentionally unhealthy conditions like bumps, lumps, and skin irritations.
Grooming and brushing will also help reduce knots in your pet's fur which can cause pain, discomfort, even abraisions and ulcers.
Every dog is unique. When you bring your dog in for their bath, I will take a look at their hair and skin. My assessment helps me determine the best shampoo and conditioner for them. You can also provide more information about any concerns you have to help me care for your pet.

Cat Grooming
Cats are known for being fastifious groomers, but even the most diligent feline may need profesional grooming from time to time. Whether your cat has a long-haired coat that requires regular brushing or a short-haired coat that can benefit from regular nail trims, cat grooming services are available to help keep your furry friend looking and feeling their best.
Cat grooming is the process of cleaning, maintaining and beautifying your cat's coat, skin, and nails. Services can range from basic grooming packages that include a bath and brush to more specialized services such as ear cleaning, and flea treatments.
Cats are fastidious creatures and they spend a significant portion of their day grooming themselves. However, even with their best efforts, cats can stil develop mats in their fur, which can be painful and difficult to remove. Regular grooming from a professional can help prevent matting, reduce shedding, and keep your car's skin and coat healthy.
Regular grooming can also help detect skin conditions and other health issues early on. During a grooming session I will thoroughly examine your cat's skin and fur for abnormalities such as lumps, bumps, or rashes. Catching these issues early can help prevent them from becoming more serious health problems.
In addition to the health benefits, regular grooming can also help reduce the amount of hair your cat sheds. This is especially important if you or a family member suffers from allergies. By removing loose hair during a grooming session, there will be less hair for your cat to shed around your home.

About Me
My name is Monica and there are a variety of things that I love, and love to do, but my true passion is to be surrounded with pets, especially dogs; not only do I love them in general, but I also love caring for and working with them.
I'm an animal lover and a pet owner. I have two beautiful dogs named Melo (an English Cocker Spaniel) and Khoda (a Pembroke Welsh Corgi) that I love so much. For as long as I can remember I have always had a pet present in my life. I like to think that for that reason I love animals as much as I do. I'm a member of Humane Society International, and the ASPCA. I proudly did some volunteer work at the DSPCA as a dog walker, and pet sat pets for friends and family. After a while I had decided to go to grooming school. I graduated from New York Academy of Pet Styling. Now I'm working on what I love the most that is grooming dogs. For the most part animals are incredibly cute, especially dogs. The more knowledge I gathered, the more I believed animals have rights, they have feelings, thoughts even memories just as we do. Pets become part of the family, and your best friend. They are always ready to offer unconditional love to their owners, that's why I have decided to work with pets, especially dogs. I also have experience with handicap dogs, as my first dog named Cooper (also an English Cocker Spaniel) had Epilepsy since he was 2 years old. He had seizures once a month. It was hard watching my pup go through that. He passed away when he was 14 years old, it broke my heart. That's why I have a strong compassion for dogs with disabilities. I am someone who is very responsible, and professional that's why I decided to take a CPR course for dogs just to be prepared for any emergency. My goal is to apply my passion of grooming to all dogs, especially dogs in shelters and rescue situations. My dream is to have a hotel for dogs and cats with grooming services and day care where they can socialize and have fun; and more importantly with afforable prices; sounds great!!
I look forward to meeting you and I will treat your dog or cat as my own.
